Account Registration & Eligibility
Creating your Finendar account
Account Creation
To access most features of our Services, you must register for and maintain an active user account. You must be at least thirteen (13) years old to create an account. Certain features such as the digital wallet, monetization tools, CBT exam creation, or organizational functionalities may require you to be eighteen (18) years or older.
Account Security
You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials. You are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your account, whether or not you authorized such activities.
Finendar implements verification processes to enhance platform integrity. While these measures aim to build trust, we do not guarantee the identity or authenticity of any user. Exercise caution in your interactions.
User Conduct & Prohibited Activities
Platform rules and guidelines
You agree to use the Services in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Illegal Activities: Using the Services to promote, engage in, or facilitate any illegal act, including fraud, money laundering, or terrorism.

- Security Breaches: Attempting to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities, or introducing malicious code.
- Assessment Fraud: Cheating on CBT exams, manipulating election results, or misusing educational/HR tools.
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension or termination, and reporting to law enforcement authorities where applicable.
Content Ownership & License
Intellectual property rights
Your Content
You retain all ownership rights in your intellectual property. However, by submitting content, you grant Finendar a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, distribute, and display your content in connection with the Services.
Finendar's Content
All content and intellectual property on the Services, excluding User Content, is the property of Finendar or its content suppliers and protected by international copyright laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services without explicit written permission.

Digital Wallet & Monetization
Financial services and transactions
Finendar provides an integrated digital wallet and monetization features. FINENDAR IS NOT A BANK, MONEY TRANSMITTER, OR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. All digital wallet services are provided through third-party payment processors.
- KYC/AML Compliance: You may be required to provide government-issued ID, proof of address, and financial details for verification.
- Prohibited Conduct: Do not use financial features for money laundering, funding illegal activities, or deceptive practices.
- Fees: Transaction fees, withdrawal fees, or service fees will be clearly disclosed before you initiate transactions.
- No Refunds: All transactions are final and non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise or required by law.
- Tax Responsibilities: You are solely responsible for all taxes associated with income from Finendar's monetization features.

CBT, WBT, Voting & HR Tools
CBT & WBT Assessment Tools
Finendar provides Computer-Based Testing (CBT) and Web-Based Training (WBT) tools for educational institutions, businesses, and organizations. If you are using these tools, you are responsible for:
- Ensuring compliance with data privacy laws (NDPR, GDPR, FERPA) regarding student and employee data.
- Obtaining necessary consents from individuals whose data you process.
- Maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of all uploaded data.
- Implementing appropriate internal policies for data access and security.
Election & Polling System
Our digital voting system enables secure elections for schools, clubs, and organizations. You are responsible for ensuring fairness, transparency, compliance with electoral laws, verifying voter eligibility, and communicating rules to participants.
Finendar provides the technical infrastructure but is not responsible for the conduct or outcome of any election. Manipulation attempts will result in immediate action and may be reported to authorities.

IN NO EVENT SHALL FINENDAR'S TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE PAST TWELVE (12) MONTHS, OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (US$50.00).

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- Mandatory Arbitration: Disputes shall be determined by binding arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, before a single arbitrator.
